Yoga for young people


Children benefit enormously from yoga and use the lessons learnt effectively in their everyday lives.  I have been amazed at how young people adapt 'tools' immediately in their everyday circumstances.


They are able to channel their emotions well using postures and breathing for:


  • building confidence 

  • improving learning skills and memory recall

  • feeling calm for tests, exams or managing anxiety

  • improving concentration and focus

  • feeing energised and happy

  • managing fear or challenges

  • managing a variety of health conditions


The results from yoga classess to date are very positive.  Students from the ages of 7 years to 14 years, feedback that yoga has helped them significantly.


Feedback from parents highlight that differences in performance, behaviour and confidence are evident from as early as the very first couple of lessons.
